4100- APPOINTMENT OF NON-ADMINISTRATIVE CERTIFIED PERSONNEL

Pursuant to Section 10-151 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Board of Education delegates to the Superintendent of Schools the authority to appoint all non-administrative certified personnel who are required to hold a certificate issued by the Connecticut State Board of Education. 

In exercising this delegated authority, the Superintendent shall ensure that appointments are made in accordance with applicable federal and state law, Board of Education policy, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements.
